Caravan Technician – Salisbury

With rapid growth since taking over the former Salisbury Caravans site at Old Sarum, Webbs Caravans now require another Experienced Caravan Technician to join our busy workshop operation.
The ideal candidate will have passed their 12v/electrical certificate, ACOPS and City & Guilds in Caravan Servicing and be looking for a new challenge in a busy progressive Company.

An eye for detail is essential as well as the willingness to work across a variety of jobs such as warranty, insurance and internal bodyshell repairs.

Caravan technicians who have worked in the industry for 18+months who don’t have the qualifications will also be considered if they are at a position where they are ready to qualify. Only candidates with specific caravan/motorhome servicing experience will be considered for this role.

  • Hours : 08:30 – 17:30 Monday – Friday
  • Alternate Saturday mornings 08:30 – 13:00 paid at an overtime rate
  • Holiday : 20 days paid holiday per year plus Bank Holidays
  • Salary : An industry leading remuneration package is available for the right candidate which includes quarterly bonuses following a successful 3 month trial period

Workshop Technician – Warminster

Due to the increasing popularity of the UK leisure sector and in order to keep up with demand, we are now recruiting for a workshop technician.

This role will involve:
  • Repairing conversion aspects of motorhomes and caravans
  • Servicing the conversion areas of motorhomes and caravans
  • Preparing sold motorhomes for handover to the customer

Experience:

The successful applicant will ideally be working in the motorhome/caravan industry. However, consideration will be given to hard working technicians from other trades, there will be the opportunity to obtain qualifications relating to gas and electrics.

Hours of work: 8.30am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday and alternate Saturdays
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Fully Qualified Mechanic

This role will consist of inspecting, repairing, servicing and fault diagnosis on the mechanical aspects of the motorhomes. Customer satisfaction is key to our success, we are looking for someone who is hardworking with an eye for detail, and most importantly takes pride in their work.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience of working with light commercial vehicles, although consideration will be given to hard working technicians from other sectors.

Hours of work: 8.30am – 5.30 pm
Days of work: Monday – Friday and every other Saturday.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
